Event information: This is a guided tasting event. Sit back, relax and taste while I explain what is it exactly that you are tasting. We will have 3 special vintage beers and also 2 beers of whats on tap on the day. Participation cost is 4,000yen a person.
Event information in English: In this event we will be tasting 2014, 2016 and 2018 vintages of the J.W. Lee’s Vintage Harvest Ale. We will also discuss Barleywine history and production methods. Event participation cost is 5,000 yen – this cost includes one beer glass of from whatever is on tap.

In this seminar we will be tasting common off flavors in beer production, remember the flavor descriptors and discuss origin/prevention of the off-flavors. We will taste 3 samples of each off-flavor, starting at human threshold, double and quadruple threshold. Join us for a delightful beer and cheese pairing event! We’ll explore five unique pairings, savoring the flavors and discovering how they complement each other. Together, we’ll take tasting notes and discuss the interplay of tastes in each pairing. The event participation fee is 5,000 yen. In this seminar each participant will be smelling the 12 vials of the Barth-Haas Yakima Valley hop standards aroma kit . This will be followed by smelling different hops in the brewery and having beer tasters with these flavors represented in the beer. Participation cost is 7,000 yen. After discussing lambic history and production we will taste the samples and explore how lambic flavor matures and changes over time. Participation cost is 5,000 yen.
